A small, thoughtful classroom, where children learn through play
I started teaching Pre-School fifteen years ago. It began as a way to earn money while staying home with my children when they were younger. Experience in the first few years of business inspired me to better understand how to support every child's learning needs, so I completed my Associates coursework in Early Childhood Education while running my first program in California. When our family moved to South Carolina during the pandemic, I took a much-needed break from running a Pre-School, focusing on supporting the growing needs of my own kids.
While considering what I might want to do next, I came across a Facebook post promoting a local Montessori school's need for teachers. I accepted a teaching position, and quickly remembered how much I missed the children, and the joy of helping each of them grow and learn.
Ms. Holly's is a Pre-School built for my community. A small classroom, a curriculum I've grown, and the time to notice how each child learns best.
